Sore Throat is an expiremental black and white Super 8 short film, which was shot over the span of 1 year (2021-2022). This non-profit project, went on to offer free admission premieres across Rhode Island and New York for surrounding communities. The film was certified under the Chicago Indie Film Awards Selection and was a Semi-Finalist at Flickers’ Rhode Island Film Festival.

As the Director of Photography, alongside Carter Hiett, experience in time management amongst others and ourselves was crucial to the finalization of this project. The whole cast, including Writer and Director Jayden Barber, learned to persevere despite climate, budgets, and guerilla film-making obstacles.
